Growth

Look deep into nature and you will understand everything better. —Albert Einstein

You don't have to be Einstein to understand the simple truths in life. You do have to foster a willingness to be simple in your own life, and, most likely, go against the grain.

Progress, when seen as a constant march forward, severs the tie inside of us with our own knowing. In fact, I believe we are at risk of conveniencing ourselves out of existence!

Instead of progress, maybe we should be more interested in growth. Growth involves learning and integrating, rather than simply abandoning the old for the new.

As always, I am so grateful for the lessons learned in this way of working, where growth is not a linear path forward, but involves a constant and consistent return to the beginning.

Perhaps that is why I feel so comfortable in Italy, and with my hands in the earth, as my grandparents were Italian farmers.

Growing by returning, regenerating, renewing.

I hope to hear from you, and more importantly, I hope to see you! Let's not allow our online communication to be a substitute for in person.
